Kristin Fisher joined CNN on the 20th of July, 2021 as Space and Defense Correspondent. As a correspondent, she will cover everything including NASA's recently-created Space Force to commercial space businesses and the advent space tourism. Kristin is the mother of two NASA Astronauts. Kristin has grown up in the world of space and covered the Trump and Biden Administration space policies for FOX News as White House Correspondent. In that period, Kristin also reported on impeachment hearings for President Trump, the 2020 Presidential campaign as well as efforts of two administrations in order to stop the spread of the Coronavirus. Kristin traveled extensively, including both the vice president and president. She was even on a secret trip to Afghanistan alongside Donald Trump. Before being hired by the channel in, Kristin spent nearly a 10 years working her way up through local TV news markets in Grand Junction, Colorado; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Washington, D.C. where she won the Emmy Award as a one-man-band reporter for the Washington, D.C.'s CBS affiliate. Kristin began Field Mouse Films with her experience behind the camera in 2014. The company specialized in making documentaries for corporate clients such as Uber as well as Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin has a bachelor's degree of journalism at Boston University. Kristin is married with a daughter, and her three-year-old son in Washington, D.C.
